Until you can get an official resizing when you are done losing, I would use - here come the technical terms - those little plastic thingies! LOL I know they sell them at Wal-Mart and they are small, silicone 'tubes' that fit over the bottom of the ring that will help them stay on.
Does anyone have a clue of what I am talking about?

They are like $3 and I've been wearing them for over 6 months. I have TWO on my ring right now! (But I'm getting my ring resized this summer!)
If you go in and tell the person at the jewelry counter at Wal-Mart that you need the plastic ring "thingies"--they'll know exactly what you're talking about. (Because that is EXACTLY what I asked for when I went!)

Its called a ring guard Walmart's plastic tube thingies work well, and many jewelers can put a guard on for a small fe like 5 bucks...worth every penny, ig you ask me

They are called ring guards That should do the trick until you are done losing!

another option
You could buy a plain band that is your currant size and use it as a 'lock' to hold your ring on til you get it resized.

I did that at first, Luna, but eventually my ring fit over the cheapo one that i was wearing as a guard. I finally just had mine resized. It only cost me $15 per ring so it was fairly inexpensive. I'm so glad I did it, too! Those plastic thingies don't work for me, they irritate my finger something fierce, so I had to just have mine resized. I'll get them done again when I get to goal, if that ever happens. LOL!

You can also take your rings to a jeweler and ask for a spacer. They are fairly inexpensive as well. What I liked about the spacer is it can be adjusted to make your ring fit snuggly. I would wait until I hit about a year out though before I'd get my ring sized. I went from like 6.5 to a 4.25. Remember things like the weater and temperature will also determine how your rings fit. If your hands are cold your ring will be looser than when warm.
Hope you find what works for you.
Sharon
