Let me tell you for personal experience...It's AMAZING going back after several years!! I went to college right out of HS and graduated with a BS in El. Education, and minors in Psychology. After...ahhemmm....a few years, , I decided I didn't want to teach and went back to school to get an RN (nursing). It was scary at first, but MAN, I LOVE IT! This time around it's more of a personal challenge and something I WANT. My grades now are above reproach and blow my other college scores out of the water. It's like riding a bike, once you get back on....it comes right back. PLUS, the older you are, the more you actually will enjoy the courses you are taking. AT least that is how it has been for me. Here I am, nearing 40 and starting a brand new career...it's terrifying, but exhilarating! RUN WITH IT!!!!

Congrats on going back to school!

I wish I had the gumption to do this. My employer offers full tuition reimbursement for any field of study...just have to get at least a C average. I've been too darned lazy - for the 11+ years I've worked there - to take advantage of it.
