You bring up a good point. In all this we have going on, a lot of us forget that our bodies born several hundred calories a day just living. We really need to work on getting our daily needs in.

Here's a eye-opener. Check out this site and see what you'd burn just staying in bed all day.

I disagree Miss Collarbones!
I can only tollerate mushy stuff, so I don't stray too far from that. Also, I drink 60 grams of protein a day, PLUS, whatever protein I get from my food. I drink at least 70 ounces of water a day. 100 when I'm exercising a lot. I have WAY more energy than before surgery. I feel WAY better!! I also take my vitamins every single day.
So, HOW am I HARMING MYSELF DEB?!?!?!

((Only I can yell at Deb like that, 'cuz she knows I love her to death!))

June 1st..

Breakfast:

I had an omelette made with 1 whole omega-3 egg, and one regular egg white, a tablespoon of chopped onion and a tablespoon of chopped deli ham 97% fat free, and some "pure buttery spray" One slice of toasted "Flax Seed & Fiber" bread with Benecol butter spray.

lunch: garlic chicken & green beans w/ toasted almonds

dinner: 3 inches of a Subway "Bacon Chicken Ranch" sandwich on honey oat bread, made with the insides of the bread scooped out, edges cut off... dressing on the side.. (just a drizzle) Veggies inside were spinach, onions, cucumber and a bit o' lettuce.

I didn't have any snacks, as I just didn't feel like eating anything else.

Fluids- 1 20 oz cup of homemade iced coffee.
3 12 oz cups of tea
1 20 oz bottle of lemon water
4 sugar free popsicles @ 1.7 fluid oz each

working on my last cup of tea before bed.

Ya know, as I read through these posts I laugh thinking of all the people who have warned us, "If you have gastric bypass surgery you'll NEVER be able to eat again!"

You're right. If you are getting your protein, drinking the fluids and taking the vitamins, you're great! And you are exercising! You're awesome!

But what about ME?!?!
3 months and still no 'normal' food! An egg on toast sounds wonderful, and sliced meat with mustard ... Yum!
So, when is it MY turn?!?!?!
