I've lost around 76 lbs since my first visit to the surgeon back last Nov.. (I'm currently up a lb ) and I've not bought a single thing yet. I haven't had the need to buy anything, as I have plenty of clothing, still.. so I'm saving my money.

Also, I can sew really well and so I don't have any plans to buy anything until I absolutely have to.. I even know how to alter bras and panties, LOL though I've not had to do that yet.

I'll buy a new dress for my wedding, along with a top of the line spanx to go with that... and I'll buy something new for our short honeymoon trip immediately after, though we're not taking our official honeymoon until springtime.

I did treat myself to a new pair of nails, though

I decided that once I got under 200 lbs, I would by myself a pair of diamond earrings. They were nice. I was looking at 14k gold, but then I went all out and got the platinum ones. Then, when I hit goal, I bought a diamond bracelet. I have been struggling with 10 lbs and since I'm currently up the 10 at my 3 yr anniversary, I'm not getting my maintenence prize this year. If I'm back down the 10 next May, I'll get the Nikon camera I want and get back into photography. Sue

I went to the trendiest mall in town. Walked into one of the most expensive "only beautiful people here" stores and bought a designer muscle shirt, several button downs, ties, belt, pants, ect.

Had the girl there throwing different things at me. Was kinda nice for people to not even think twice about me being in there and getting "hmm that looks nice" looks.

Was a fun day no doubt.

I've had to buy a few new things to be able to wear to work. First thing was a new pair of black dress pants - figured they were the most versitile. The cool thing about them though is I got them at Ross, they are the same brand, style, etc as my favorite pair of dress pants I was wearing before surgery that I had bought at Macy's a year ago. The cool thing though is the new ones were two sizes smaller! I also bought a few new tops. I haven't lost a whole lot of weight yet, but I can really see a difference in the way the sales people react to me now. They were much more helpful it seemed - or maybe I was just in on a slow day - lol.

The first purposeful thing I bought after I lost the weight was a girl t-shirt. You know what I mean? Not the baggy, saggy, boxy kind of t-shirts I used to wear to cover my bulk. These were little, more fitted.

They are still my weakness. The funkier, the better.

LOL, I've been trying to get my hubby to get me a Harley so I don't have to be on the back of his all the time... I think that is going to be my goal weight prize if I don't have it before then.
