you should always buy lingerie for yourself IMO. Its a pick me up.. all he wants is it on the floor anyways

I'd like a dress. A nice, pretty flattering dress. I don't wear them now with all my rolls and stuff cause they're very unattractive. I'll skip the heels though.. i hate towering as it is

My 1st thing I bought in reg. size was a mini skirt (6) just like our Sherri wears. I want to be just like her when I grow up.

I haven't bought any clothes as a treat yet. I spend so much time looking through the clearance racks for anything under 5 bucks that it's a chore!
But I did promise myself something once I lost my first 50 pounds ... she's 3 weeks old now and my pride and joy ...
((huge beaming smile!))

Oh, and my present to myself when I hit OnderLand will be a brand new pair of Bauer ice hockey skates! Woohoo!!
(I played ice hockey all through college, so this will be a huge celebration for me)
The ultimate gift to myself will be a boob job ... that is IF I will ever be able to afford it! So for now I've got my sights on obtainable goals like my bike and hockey skates

I would like a Prius or a MiniCooper. I will probably have to settle with a nice pair of jeans.

I would like to buy a plane ticket. In coach, giving the person next to me the armrest, because I am comfortable without it, thank you. To Jamaica. I will settle with a nice bathing suit (NO bikinis...all that belly stuff! yikes! ) or a VS Wonderbra!

Hey Judijo ...
Why the sad face in your signature?? You lot 20 pounds!! SMILE!!!
I'm guessing you feel you haven't lost enough, or maybe you're stalling. Just give this a try, humor me ... next time you're in the grocery store, put a 10 pound bag of potatoes under each arm and see how long you can walk around like that. I'm willing to bet you'll be surprised at how much 20 pounds really feels like, and maybe you'll even give yourself the pat on the back you deserve!

Good luck.

You are my new very best friend, Julie!

At my local market, one of the stock gals is one of my patients (I do mammograms). Her other life is as a personal trainer at the local way-too-expensive-for-me fitness club. She recognized the weight loss and I was lamenting over the stall. She said exactly what you said... In fact, she walked me over to produce and handed me 2 10-lb bags of potatoes..."see...you had that IN YOU only 4 weeks ago!"

Thanks for the perspective. I promise I will change the sig...after the scale changes! LOL ((HUGS))
