Need ideas for raffle - ThinnerTimes

Hi All,
I'm putting this under social because it has nothing to do with GBPS. I am on the prize committee for my High School Reunion. The reunion is on August 13th, 2005 and I'm trying to get some ideas for raffle prizes. I'm trying to find donations of services or whatever. somethings I have thought of are like 30 min. massages, dinner gift certificates, gift baskets, ect. If there is anyone with suggestions on items or where to get donations please let me know.
Also if there is anyone out there willing to donate a service let me know.

I really appreciate any help.

I have been involved with youth football for many years. What I have found is that you just need to go to local stores and such most will donate something. Target and Walmart will do something usually. Mom and Pop stores will do something usually also. Just pound the pavement a little you will get donations.

Ditto for beauty shops etc. Many will donate free hair cuts, etc. It just takes a little leg work!

Thanks Everyone I have been so busy I have been lagging. I will send some letters out this coming week. I will also check out Wal Mart and all the other's.

I have done few of these myself. I would suggest writing or going to the fishing boat places in Point Loma and get a 1/2 day pass or whatever they will give you. Also, write Disneyland and Seaworld and Knotts Berry Farm and our water park. All of these are great prizes for raffles.

Well I emailed most of the amusement parks and some of the ballet studios in town. One of them is managed by an alumni of my high school. He has committed to gift certificates. I never would have thought of Disney or the others without your help. I also emailed all the sports leagues in san diego. I figure worth a shot.
