Here's an interesting one, maybe there's some good recipes in this. It says it won't be mailed out until August though.

I just got these samples in the mail today! Six of them! (I think that they are 1/2 servings each package) At any rate...that came quick and I immediately signed up everyone in my family to get more! I'm going to try the Chocolate Truffle tomorrow!

Thanks Nicole!

Thanks Nicole!
I got mine today as well...2 packets of Nectar Syntrax Kiwi Strawberry (already have a tub of that, but I'll stick these in my purse), 2 packets of Matrix Cookies & Cream (OMG, so good!), and 2 packets of the Syntrax Chocolate Truffle.

I signed up for this, but I doubt they'll ship to Europe. I'll let you know if they do

Thanks Nicole!

You're welcome! So did I! Did you like them? I can't find any protein that I love.

Okay--

I just tried the Syntrax Chocolate Truffle. Think Chocolate Egg Nog. It definitely had that "protein-y" aura but I was able to choke it down. I won't be having it again. I did two of the sample packets in 8 oz milk. (Each sample is a 1/2 serving) for a total of 32g of protein. I didn't want to drink it, but I didn't want to waste it either, so my miserly side won out and I sucked it up. I hope the other sample flavors are better.

Given the choice between the choc. truffle flavor and eating a live squid for protein, I'd go with the Choc. Truffle--but only because the taste is only slightly better and my breath wouldn't reek of bait afterwards.

I'm thinking of writing a novel based on my experiences with Protein. I'll call it: "Vomit and Gag: The Trials and Tribulations of Being Protein Dependent." Chapter One will be all scratch and sniff of different protein powders and flavors. Chapter Two will be a washcloth to catch the puke from perusing Chapter One. Chapter three will be a plastic, gel-filled eye mask to help recover from Chapters one and two. The fourth chapter will be a steak you can lick instead of drinking protein. It will be a thick book, but a quick read. I'm seeing Bestseller in my future.

I'll update with the Cookies and Cream flavor tomorrow. My expectations are low, especially considering Sherry's revelation that there are cookie lumps in it. I'm going to blend the shit out of it before it hits my lips--I can't take anything that's not smooth. (Michelle, if you read this, I'm warning you up front--don't take that out of context!)
