Singing
I will be singing in a wedding this weekend so I have rehearsal and dinner tonight, wedding and dinner reception tomorrow night. Hubby has been out of town working the past week and still has 2 weeks left but he'll be home Saturday and most of the day sunday so we'll definitely be having some family time after church on Sunday before he has to leave again. Monday, he will be gone, so me and the boys will probably hit the highway and go see my parents/sister for the evening. (It's only a 45 minute drive so I can still afford to go to their house for now...if gas gets anymore expensive, we may just have to start conference calling....geez!)
Everyone have a great long weekend!
A~

We will be driving to the wonderful town of Taft (by Bakersfield) to visit with my sister and the kids. Their town is SMALL and they have 1 hotel and its full already. Not sure why anyone would want to go there for vacation. My parents will be there also so it's going to be a house full. 8 adults 5 kids 8 dogs 2 cats and a partridge in a pear tree....lol At least I get a bed. I knew there was tons of benefits for being pregnant!

Believe it or not, I have a mammogram on Saturday, and there is an arborist coming to the house to do some pruning on a sick maple tree. Sunday is the BBQ, but I have church first. Monday, my best friend is helping us do a "Clean Sweep". Tuesday I'll be able to relax- at work!

i'm doing nothing! as usual. watching the cats run around the house like they've been smoking crack all day, yelling at the little ones to be less loud, arguing with a -itchy teenage girl and probably watching Dora the Explorer until my eyeballs roll around in my head adn then watching Ben 10

Kids are leaving this evening with my parents to go to vacation house in Grand Isle, LA (beach/fishing trip). Hubby and I will be alone until we meet down there on Sunday afternoon. We will all leave together Monday afternoon after a BBQ I'm sure! - No sauce for me, please!
Hubby and I will probably do some yard work. Saturday, because my brothers and their families will probably BBQ by our pool on Monday while we are in Grand Isle.
Hope everyone else finds something fun to do this weekend!

My husbands best friend passed away 3 years ago at the age of 35 from Cancer. Every year since at this time we have a BIG cookout and invite pretty much anyone that knew him. Last year we had around 160 people (someone told that we were having a keg party). This year I hope its a little more in control and we are back down to around 70-100 people. Most will pitch a tent and stay the night, we will play horseshoes, washers and let the kids run wild. We own some land that joins a lake and my husband and his friend spent alot of time there fishing, hunting, camping. I'm suprising my husband this year by having a Memorial/Rememberance Stone put up tomorrow morning.
I hope everyone has a SAFE and HAPPY Memorial Day
