I googled Freecycle to find a clothes swap, but got "meetup.com" instead. Now I'm no longer sitting at home with nothing to do. Although I have not found any clothes, I did find lots of social groups in my area that I joined for free. There is every activity a person wants to be involved in on there from politics to food! I now belong to a Tea social, book club, walking group, movie group, card players, and several community activities. Although I usually can't eat I enjoy sipping tea/water, meeting people with similar interests, and seeing places in the city I have never visited. I can't believe I've been going places alone when I could have had new friends to go with. Apparently it's been around awhile...am I the only one that didn't know about it???

On another note-- I am a moderator of the Brazoria Co freecycle: here is our group site: freecyclebrazoriaco : Freecycle-Brazoria County, Texas it is pretty active and there are a lot of members in your area.
