Omaha Jim and SWMBO Update
OMG - What a crazy 6 weeks. Traveling, business meetings, Kids moving in, OMG - just freaking Crazy.
All is going well.
SWMBO has healed wonderfully. Some minor Keloid scaring on the open incision site (aka - the scar from hell). She is about 10 weeks out and will be down 60 pounds or so by this weekend. She is having to push to get all her protein in, but is trying real hard. No real evidence of hair loss, and other than the scarring, she is doing fabulous. Started at a 20/22 and is now solid in a 16 and fits in some 14's. She is one hot mama and I am a lucky man.
I am 3 days away from 6 months post op. Still truly amazed on a routine basis. I reached 150 pounds of weigh loss today. I just cannot believe it. People I have known for years don't recognize me. 2x shirts a getting big on me, XL fits many times. 44 waist trousers down from a 62. Blood pressure is great and I routinely sleep without my cpap anymore. I could probably get rid of it. I am expecting to loose another 60-70 pounds, but it has really slowed down. 2-3 pounds per week seems to be the norm.
SWMBO and I are going to Maui at the end of the month to stand up for her cousin at his wedding. I am glad I have the next two weeks at home. Workout schedule has been screwy lately with all the travel and business dinners.
Be Well

Jim, you two are doing fabulous! Now if I could just get you to give me some advance notice for when your going to be around here....WE will totally Meet up! Although you have your life of leisure...mine is hampered by 3 rug rats, who for some reason I have a hard time finding people willing to babysit them. LOL (I blame their father!)

Leisure = Anyone who doesn't have 3 kids "Mommying" them 24/7. Since I assume you do not suffer this injustice, you therefore have a life of LEISURE! Sides, didn't you say you and wifey were going to Maui, and on the TT cruise?? NOT FAIR, NOT FAIR, NOT FAIR...<~~Insert childlike temper tantrum!
Now..when I DO get to meet your HOT Self, we are going to have to Show you the town. Which in Iowa terms, means going on the boat, losing a few bucks, drinking a few brewskies, and calling it a Good! Lame yes, entertaining- NO...other options...Shucking Corn....If I were you, I would vote for the Boat! LOLOLOL!!!
