Sorry you had such a crummy day for Mother's day Kim. I can see why you'd be hurt that your DH waited so long to get the card that they were gone

That is a huge, huge thing for me.. happens with my birthday a lot (between Christmas & New Years and it gets 'lost' in the shuffle.) Hopefully you'll think of ways he can make it up to you
My Mother's day was just 'okay'... my daughter had given me my MD gift & card last time she was home, as she thought she wouldn't be here yesterday, though she was... she gave me a couple of small gifts which was nice.
We had plans to go get our nails done & my ears re-pierced (since I did them when I was 15 and I didn't do a very good job of it, LOL).. but we couldn't get near the malls.. we decided to just blow it off till a later date.
So I ended up just bringing her back to her dorm.. getting stopped by a police officer for not having an '08 sticker on my plate.. (weird, I have no idea where it went!) He was nice, just told me to get it fixed.
My son called me a few times, but I was always out of the car, so when I finally called him back at 2:45, he says "Hi.. I called you a couple times to say Happy Mothers day but you didn't answer the phone.. now I have to go, because I'll be late for work, so Happy Mothers Day.. bye".. LOL. I told him I loved him and he said he loved me too.
The day before though was just a really fun day with my daughter. I wrote about that in my 'personal story' thread.. rather than repeat it, here's a link, if anyone is interested:
