My girls got me an awesome new bike! First Mother's day ever that our family activity will be going out and being active and not going out to dinner. Hope this is a trend that continues.

Mother's Day has started out kind of rough for me, as I had another sleepless night.. I hate insomnia!.... but after we get going, my daughter and I are headed out.. she's going to hold my hand while I get my ears pierced correctly.. (I did them myself at age 15.. and they look silly when I wear hoops!).. and then we're going to get our nails done.
After that, I'll be bringing her back to her dorm for her last exam tomorrow.
Hopefully, I'll get a call from my son who lives away now, and I'll be calling my Mom later this afternoon. I got her some kitchen hand towels with roosters on them. She loves that stuff!
Happy Mothers day to all the Mom's!

Hey to all the Moms and everybody else too: HAVE A GREAT DAY!
The Mom in this household is running the church services today....I never had a Urinary Tract Infection before, and I sure hope this one leaves quickly! The antibiotic mashed in applesauce is disgusting, but now I put in crystal lite too and that better disguises the vile taste...I am 5 days away from being a month out of surgery. I am thinking this UTI that has made me misrable was due to my liquids intake. Do we tend to get UTI's more frequently due to GBS??? Oops, why not send me a PM, this thread should be for MOTHER'S DAY...Not my whining. Sorry.

Happy Mothers' Day everyone!
Mine is going to be very quiet... My hubby, dd and I picked out my gift last week - I get a new mother's ring with my favorite stones - diamonds, sapphires and amethyst... and we ordered it too small so it won't have to be resized like the rest of my rings.
Hubby's at the gym, teenagers are still in bed, and I have to drink my mag-cit in an hour. My mothers' day gift to myself and my family? surgery tomorrow!

Happy Mothers Day All!!!
My hubby and 3 year old fixed me breakfast this morning, was quite comical as I layed in bed listening to thier chatter. This is my 3rd Mothers Day and after 17 years of trying for a child it still seems unbelievable. Have a good one.
