So will he, darling, so will he. I think the papers are going to finally be signed on June 1st!

I'll call you this week about next Monday--probably gonna be at Red Lobster on Transit, but I don't know what time yet! Hope things are going well with you. We've got to try an plan a little party before you leave, maybe Bridget could come and Jenny, Dave, Jen, and Gina?

Ha, ha, Mike, yes I'm a big ol' copycat! I will freely admit that you put the bug in my head, but it honestly did make sense that I switch up cars now. The behavior of the car salesmen TOTALLy makes a big impact on which car gets bought. That's one reason I left the Honda dealer without spending much time there -- the guy was a literal slimeball. I think his hair might've actually been dripping

Today I drove my new little "Hero" 200 miles Went and took my mom on a tour of some local gardens and then to lunch (we went to Tapa the World, for my Sacramento peeps). Hero behaved beautifully. She was VERY easy to handle, smooth, quiet. I'm still finding lots of little things that I love. BIG windows! Mom loves her a lot, too. Now she's talking about buying one just like it since her Porshe and Expedition are both not the most economical, LOL. Even after driving only 200 miles, I can already tell that my gas mileage is MUCH better. I'm at half a tank now, when before I would get around 275 total before having to fill up.

My only quibble so far is that I miss a center arm rest. I am definitely going to be looking into some sort of after-market solution to that issue. I also miss all the tinted windows on my PT Cruiser, though it makes visibility a bit easier without them. All in all, I ::heart:: my new car.

Thumbs up got my new "used" car

I got my new "used" car yesterday. I ended up with a 2002 Olds Alero and yes, I downgraded - had to (long story people) but anyways, I love the smaller size compared to my Accord. Since I've lost a whole person, the Accord is a big car now, and the Alero fits like a glove. Fun to drive, and so good on gas. Car looks new, still smells new etc... Awesome car!!!

I love that we're all getting cars.

How cool are we? We're a bunch of hot little monkeys on wheels!

Turning in my Pilot is looming and I am cringing with the thought... I HATE car dealerships...I ALWAYS get bent over. AND...I have a lease with 86,000 miles on it and ticking... there will definitely be NO KY this time.
