Mike - you must have done some oh-so-sweet talking to get Liz to cave Whatever you chose will be right for you and your family. Remember...end of month deals are MUCH better!

Yes, but I've got beginning of the month permission...I'm not one to waste an opportunity!

Yeah but if you tell her you can get a better deal at end of month (I work with a guy who sold cars, and if he says it, its true!), I know Liz well enough that you'd probably still have permission then...and you'll get brownie points for saving bucks Who knows...maybe with what you save on the car, you can get a pair of pants that actually fit and that don't fall off

I got the car!

It's the Scion xD...I signed all the papers yesterday and we were able to pick it up today! I drove the Fit and liked it, and also looked at the Hyundai Nissan, the Mazda 3, and the Kia Rio. I wanted something small, but sporty, and that got good gas mileage. This one has a large interior, relative to its size. It has a classy look inside and came with tons of options that were standard, but that were add-ons in the other cars. It also has a nice warranty and a pretty decent car payment. I got a good interest rate and a little WOW moment that wasn't related to GBS. My credit score was a lot higher than I thought--which qualified me for the best interest rate. I was thrilled!

My wife and I (and the bambino) have been driving around all afternoon! We're now thinking we're going to trade in her car too (for the same one but a newer model) if we can do it without putting anything down and without paying a lot more for it.

Here's the pics:

No, I let her drive it...I even offered to let her drive it to work tomorrow, but she said I could take it. We'll take turns on Saturday!
