I haven't gotten mine yet, but Tim got his today, and he filed back in Jan or Feb can't remember. I'm still not 100% sure I will get anything. I didn't file my taxes until 4/14/08, but I did already get my refund from federal not state. Got it last Friday. I guess it doesn't matter when the money comes in. It's going to a new crib, I want a rocking chair, and Julia needs new school clothes, so yep ours is going to help boost the world!

I got mine today but found out this morning that it's going to cost $300 to change my flight to LA since I've not heard from immigration yet. If the airline won't change the fee (the math isn't adding up, on the phone waiting to speak to someone now), then I'm pretty much out the original $400 I paid for the tickets, and a portion of the stim check will go into savings for a new plane ticket after I hear from immigration.

Hey if you are too "sick" to travel and get a note from a doc I think they will give you back your money, or give a creidt till you are better to fly. It's worth a try. Any doc will do!

They canceled the flight and gave me a credit towards another day. I'll still have to pay the change flight fee ($60 each way), but it won't be nearly as much as it was going to be. I'm just really bummed that I'm not flying to California tomorrow morning as planned.

Dangit! DH's is 67 and we should have gotten it by today! Grrrrrr! Well, I'll just keep waiting and keep checking on the IRS site. Heck, it'll probably post in my account before the site shows it there. I wish they wouldn't have told us they were doing this! They could have just sent me the money and it would have been much less stressful. LOL!
