I JUST FOUND OUT, THAT THE STIMULUS CHECKS ARE COMING OUT, AND I'M GONNA GET $233 BUCKS........I am a single mom raising 2 kids on my own and you are gonna tell me that my hard work to stay off welfare is not worth anything!!!!!!!!.......ARRRRGGGG, I'M SO MAD.

A guy I work with that makes a little more than me, got his check today $2100 bucks because he's married and his wife doesn't work........thanks Mr. PRESIDENT FOR STIFFIN ME A GOOD ONE

you can go to irs.gov and they have a calculator that will calculate your amount........mine is prorated downward because of my salary i guess.......

My in-laws aren't getting one because they made over $200,000 for the year... I know they are pro-rating downward beginning at $150,000.... so you make over $150K? Or is there another reason they are pro-rating...sorry, I don't have time to go investigate. I am supposed to be working as I type this.

You have every right to feel that way.

I was a single parent too, for many years. I received and took NOTHING from the government and all. When I did need something.....I was in my backyard and a huge piece of wood fell on my leg. I didn't have health insurance at all. I didn't go to the hospital or my doctor for about a week. One of my friends hubby is an ER doctor and I went to their house one night, cause the pain was horrible and not getting better. He said that my leg (ankle area) needed to by x-rayed for a possible breakage. My ankle area and whole foot was black and looked like it was going through the bone and such to the other side. Before I went to the hospital, I went and applied for medicade in my area. I needed help with the hospital/doctor and other bills (medical wise). I had no income at all and I was a single mom.....my boyfriend was paying all of our bills. The government turned me down....and didn't bother telling me, until I had already gone to the hospital and such. I had to pay everything out of pocket.

I hate as well, you aren't alone.
