still going strong, day three tomorrow, however, i have a word of warning for all you peeps going onto day two....stay near a bathroom, no long road trips...for me its was 215pm day two, on the way home for the gym...yikes...i have never peed so much in my life but then wow, lets just say liquids clean you out ALL ways...and to you spouses that think it is funny to not let someone in the door that has to go so very badly ...it is NOT funny at all!
good luck everyone...i didnt think it would be this easy, thinking i am doing one more day of liquids, i feel so much better right and no hunger struggles, i think liquid meals are so much better, no pressure, always know whats next, soup, shake or latte, so easy, so grateful.

I'll go in the backyard if I have to...
Starting day two...still hanging in. Actually it hasn't been that bad. While I wanted cheese--I wasn't really hungry yesterday. I didn't sleep well last night--but the baby cried a couple of times and I couldn't fall back to sleep. Other than that blip, I'm good to go...
Good luck, day two-ers!

Well I struggled with hunger last night but I just kept drinking water and got through it with only a headache hanging on. Slept fair last night but my nerves are getting to me not so much the hunger.
This morning I'm back to my normal not wanting to eat mornings. But here we go. Hope all of you have a successful day...we can do this!!!
Day Two
Ok, I gave in and weighed this morning.... 156! Down 2 pounds and 6 to go!
Breakfast:
Vanilla Cinnamon protein powder, 1 scoop: 129 cal, 1.5 fat, 26 g protein
1 c ff milk: 90 cal, 0 fat, 8 g protein
16.9 oz water w/ propel: 10 cal
16.9 oz water w/ propel: 10 cal
Lunch:
1 cup Pumpkin/sausage soup: 376 calories, 32 fat, 15 protein (used light sour cream and MorningStar sausage crumbles so I don't know stats. I'm sure calories and fat are less.)
SF Vanilla custard: 110 cal, 4.5 fat, 9 protein
Mid-Day snack:
2 cups Slim6 Kefir Low Carb Smoothie: 220 cal, 4 fat, 28 protein
16.9 oz water w/ propel: 10 cal
Supper:
1 cup Pumpkin/sausage soup: 376 calories, 32 fat, 15 protein (used light sour cream and MorningStar sausage crumbles so I don't know stats. I'm sure calories and fat are less.)
1 sf Popsicle
Evening Snack:
Venti Skinny Cinnamon Dulce: 160 cal, 0 fat, 16 protein
Looks like I'm not going to make my water today. My Vicodan has made me sick so I'm fighting nausea and dry heaves here.
Calories seem high today but I'm sure the soup I made isn't nearly as high as the stats on the 5DPT site. Considering the fact that I've got incisions that need to heal I probably need more calories so I'm certainly not worrying about it.
I'm so ready for something that isn't liquid tomorrow though!
Totals:
Calories: ? 1491
Protein: 117
Water: 50.7

Nope, no such luck Sharon...that 153 has been my lowest weight until I put on the 5 pounds. I wasn't going to weigh until Sat but admit to jumping on the scale this morning. I'm down to 156...so two pounds down. I'm happy with that. Now I only have 6 to go. Maybe I can sweet talk the dear Dr Ford into just finding 6 pounds to take off some place today. *L* I know...I know..wishful thinking on my part, but I can dream, right?

Hey that's still great!!!
I'm guilty as charged. I haven't updated my signature since May of last year.
So what's going on today? What are you having done? If I can ask?
Sharon

Dear Dr Ford is doing a little nip and tuck in a few areas. Just a little revision and refining under my arms in lower abdomen (specifically my Mons). Nothing huge but big enough that I'm going to be hurting for awhile. It will be done in his office, under local so no general anesthesia to make me really sick. I'm just rather nervous about being awake. I'm hoping he gives me some sort of sedative. If not I'm bringing my own Valium that I will just inform him will be slipping into my mouth. *L* I'm chicken!

Well... made it through day one without out too much trouble. A lot of people have mentioned increased gas in day one. I have had the opposite reaction. I think the carbs produce more gas for me, so eliminating them really seems to have reduced the gas. (And that's good news for everyone! I have a confession to make...it was not automobile exhaust damaging the ozone layer...it was me... sorry.)
I had some serious head-hunger last night, (carb cravings), but a little sugar free Jello seemed to get me through them and I went to bed early so that helped. I did wake up to pee 4 times last night which was a little annoying, but I guess all this liquid in the diet has to go somewhere. It could have been worse...I could have not woken up to pee 4 times last night.
