I Suck!
OK so I blew it. I got Cindy's bug and I turned into a big baby and decided I needed real food.
I failed at this reintroduction to my tool but I gained some valuble insite. Just cuz the weight is gone, I am still a MO person. Kinda like a dry drunk. I am an adict. I have said it before, in conversation, in word, here but I think I am just now coming to a true, deep understanding of the truth in myself.
I will get in control, I am learning.
Thanks for listening and to all you folks who completed the entire 5-days, My hats off to ya, YOU ROCK!
Lori

Lori,
Don't look at the current situation...look at the big picture! You ROCK too! This wasn't a diet we are on...it's a reintroduction to our pouches.
Look at how much you've lost--I think you're awesome!
Don't sweat it, toots--
-Mike

Day 5
Well I'm craving fruit and crunchy vegetables. The family had a fruit salad with their meal last night and I wanted some SO bad but I refrained. So onward I go today...I can have the fruit tomorrow.
First of all I have really noticed a big difference in the amount of food I am able to eat. 1 cup is certainly filling me up. Even though I have never lost that "full" sensation in the past, what I have noticed is that I feel that fullness sooner.
Breakfast
1 cup Slim6 Kefir Low Carb Smoothie: 110 cal, 2 fat, 14 protein
Lunch
1 c low fat cottage cheese w/ splenda:180 cal, 4 fat, 24 protein
South Beach Nut Medley Bar: 150 cal/7 fat/6 protein (Ok, I caved. )
16.9 oz water w/ crystal light
Mid-afternoon snack:
16 oz sf/ff latte: 130 cal/0 fat/12 protein
1 piece light string cheese: 60 cal, 2.5 fat, 9 protein
23.7 oz water w/ crystal light
Supper:
1 serving Italian Stuffed Chicken: 410 calories, 39 grams protein, 14.5 grams fat. (this was another winner. I used 2 pieces of string cheese in each 4oz piece of chicken breast. It was tender and moist and really went down well!)
23.7 oz water w/ crystal light
Totals:
Calories: 1040
Fat: 30
Protein: 104
Water: 64.3 oz

Oh Lori, as long as you learned something I say you haven't failed. Since when is learning a failure? I too am a food addict. Always will be. I understand and accept that but it is possible to control it and I think you are coming to that understanding. I feel and have always felt that you first need to understand before you have any hope at all of controlling.
You'll get there. I have no doubt at all.
