BTW: Does anyone know if we are supposed to have cheese today? Ok. I caved and had some string cheese, but I promise it is no longer an issue. I promptly hurled it. As with most solids now, I can't keep it down. Any clues as to why? I don't have a fever, I don't have flu, not sure what is up....

I was reading on the 5DPT forum that cheese was okay for days 3, 4, and 5...it said specifically that cheese was good for day 3, but then later it said that what you ate on days 4 and 5 could also include what you ate on days 1, 2, and 3. (So I'm assuming cheese is then okay for 4 and 5)

Another thing to think about from the other forum:

"Ya know y'all... the 5dpt is NOT a diet right? It's a test and a tool. It tests your pouch and encourages you to re-learn the 4 rules of wls. If you happen to lose any weight during your 5 days WELL LUCKY YOU!!! Sometimes folks don't lose but about 2 lbs. No biggie, it's the Carb Monster that they're getting under control that really counts this week.

If you're not losing weight - don't fret - (I happen to be in one of those miserable stages right now)... just keep in mind, you're not putting simple carbs into your body, you're exercising is picking up and muscle weighs more than fat, you're pouring water in you like crazy. If you're taking in your 64 ounces, that's a 1/2 gallon... thats roughly 4lbs. Just keep that in mind. You still have to count those pounds when the scale screams them at you, but it kinda helps knowing that you're messing with 4lbs a day. Ya know?"

I never even think about fat content.... huh...maybe I should. Next time I make this I will be sure to buy the lite mayo and lite sour cream, it can't change the taste that much and it might help my big ass!

I frequently look at the fat content, Cindy. Actually my surgeon's office pushes no more that 30 grams/day. I try to stick to that as much as possible. Not sure if that has helped with my weight loss but I tend to run a high cholesterol in the past and I really don't want to go there again.
