I will keep pluggin' away. So I won't have my chocolate banana smoothie, or the orange, or strawberry banana one...I am sure there is something I can drink that I can tolorate that won't make me want to hurl! If not, I keep up with what I am doing. I have to admit, I am getting LOADS of protein in. Does anyone know if there is a CAP on how much protein we should ingest in a 24hr. period? I was well over 150g's yesterday...and on my way to match or beat that today. I have added protein to everything, including my soups!

Frustration and beating one's self up...is par for the course. Old habits, ya know? Tomorrow is the start of soft proteins....I shall attempt to make it right tomorrow. Either way, I have learned I can get my protein in, and actually enjoy drinking it...like a treat! It beats the other TREATS I was allowing myself...
Don't feel bad. I was never able to tolerate protein drinks after I had my surgery. They made me hurl and it has taken over 3 years for my stomach to accept them. I didn't complain, I simply chose other methods. Nonetheless I still lost over 200+ pounds and never gained one inch in my post WLS journey.

You've been told to eat in moderation, but the real secret to that methodology is using great ingredients. Food is meant to be enjoyed. Play with the formula until you find something that works for you. Good luck!

Welcome home Beth! Glad to hear that it went well!

Default How's everyone doing????

Day 2! I am really craving solid food. I have not cracked, though and have had nothing but liquids. Really looking forward to day 3, though! My head is not in the right place yet because I keep thinking about what I want to eat when the five days are over. Ha Ha!
