Default My 4th month surgeriversary!!!

Well today it has been 4 months. Although I have not lost as fast as some and not as slow as some, I am happy overall. I mean I would never been able to do this on my own and my tool will work as long as I don't try to sabatoge myself. Some days are harder than others as most of you know. So today I have updated my stats and I am happy. I wish I would have done this years ago, but I guess we must all wait for that special time in our lives when God and yourself agree that it is time and the last hope.

Wow! Congratulations! You're doing great!!
How is it keeping up with the clothes? Do you find yourself spending a lot of money? And how are you doing with your eating?
I'm almost 7 weeks out now, and am very curious how you're doing at 4 months ...
-Julie.

Thnaks girls, you know I have always wore these stretch type black pants for 22 years now, and I still keep wearing them. My family keeps telling me to buy some new ones, but I wont. They are hanging, falling off of me, but I just roll it up at the waist and keep on walking. They laugh but I refuse to spend money right now. I have about 30 new shirts I bought on clearance for like 2 bucks each about a year or so ago, all different sizes and I tried them on for today's special occasion. Some are fitting, some not. I don't like to show my arms to much because of my huge bat wings, but the shirts are cute and summery, so I know I will wear them. I would like to go 10 more lbs though. After I typed this I realized I have lost an average of 15 lbs per month since surgery. I guess that is not as shaby as I thought. A pound every two days, I can live with that. Thank you Dr Chae!!!!! And thanks to all who support me here. Good Luck to everyone!!!!

You're doing a wonderful job Izzy. I'm a slow but steady loser too but the scale is going in the right direction.

My regret is that I didn't do this sooner but you're right, things happen in the way they do. I learnt not to question stuff like this long ago.

Keep up the good work but some advice if I may - ditch the clothes that are too baggy. Honestly, putting clothes on that actually fit does wonders for your confidence - try it! Hugs.

thanks again everyone, you are all too kind. I wish I would have known about this site preop, it is just wonderful. Now if I could just quit losing my hair>>>>my son was grossed out yesterday over my hair loss. I have always had alot of hair and now>>>>>>>>>>omg to say the least. I know I don't get in enough protein, but ordered some samples and going to try the protein drinkie thingie again. Maybe I can slow it down before I am bald. Thanks again.
