Totally OT
Does anyone else here on the forum have cats that are weird? My cat is a total lap cat a love bug and otherwise a sweetie, but sometimes she does weird stuff. She usually wakes me in the mornings (to feed her) by climbing on top of me, resting on my chest, then kneading me until I wake up to feed her. Lately, however, she has started to wake me up by giving me kisses. It's weird, she sits on my chest (I sleep on my back) and presses her kitty lips to mine. She doesn't lick me or anything just little kitty kisses. Does anyone else get the kitty kissing treatment?

Yeah...my cat Oreo be acting weird sometimes I bring him up close and talk to him and he doesnt lick me ...He loves when I pet his nose..and he bites me softly then quickly licks my hand..but he loves to lay down on my favorite winter blanket in bed.....Sometimes I call around looking for him..and he wont come out but once I shake the bag of food...he comes out sprinting for it...lol...He is the best ...can't complain.

my cats (2 of them) have mental issues! I joke about the one because my husband found her as a baby kitten under a garbage can that some kids were wacking with a stick. This cat is now about 5 or 6 years old and has a nervous problem. and then we have our black cat we got from humane society as a kitten. He's just retarded! He likes to play with anything on the floor i think he is now about 4 years old

We have 3. Sammy is obsessed with plastic. I mean obsessed! When we throw away the ring from a gallon of milk or a wrapper from string cheese, anything plastic, I have to bury it or put it in something or I'll go home to a dumped trash can. He doesn't just play with it, either, he actually eats it. Gross! Sammy also likes to get our attention by tapping us. If we're in bed or even just sitting in a chair, he'll come up and just tap with his paw. He'll do it for like 5 minutes and if he doesn't get attention then he bites. We've learned to give him attention before it turns to the bite!
The other strange one, Scooter, is obsessed with toy mice. He gets hold of one of his toys and will run around with it for hours meowing and crying. He hides them under the closet door. When I kick them out of the closet, he gets upset and runs around with it again. It's like "aw, mom! I already killed that one, why's it back again?" He is so funny! One time a real mouse got in the house. Instead of killing the real mouse like a cat is supposed to do, the idiot drags every toy mouse that we've evern bought him out of its hiding place and puts it in the middle of the living room floor. It was so funny!
Sasha is just normal. She's a little calico and just acts like a normal cat. Sometimes I think she thinks the boys are nuts!

Miss Mew always gives hubby and I kitty kisses. She also LOVES to sit in the kitchen sink, she makes her way towards the kitchen at 5pm cause she knows it's time to be fed, she even says grace before eating her food lol. What else does she do? *thinks* She has a nightly ritual of coming into our bedroom, jumping up on the bed and crawls onto me to get her good night "scritches" (pets), then she moves onto hubby for the same. When my hubby comes home from work, she insists that he carries her around. She meows at the basement door while hubby's at work too cause she thinks he's down there doing laundry. lol..... What else???? She loves to cuddle, she even gives out kitty hugs. I'm always covered in cat fur.... hehehe.
*hugs*

My cat, Moxie, Has OCD I swear it!! If there is something out of place in the house, she FREAKS OUT!!! and meows till I fix it. Everything has to be "just so" for her. Butttttttttttt... I lufs her!! She is like a dog though .. most cats scatter when someone comes to the door.. not mine!! she has to be right there to greet the person and see just who it is. She is something else!
