Oh Katie, what a beautiful blanket!! I'm sure it will be something your new grandbaby cherishes forever. My 16 year old has a blanket her Grandma quilted for her and she still uses it on her bed every night and has to take it with her whenever we go away. Grandma tells her she will make her another one if she is willing to throw this one away but Leah won't even consider it. She'll take another blanket but this one will never find its way to the trash! I'm sure the blanket you made will hold the same special meaning for your grandbaby.
