My local Vons had a re-opening after they remodeled and had free samples around dinner time for 2 weeks. It was at the time when a couple of bites would fill me up and needless to say, I got to be well-known by the employees there!

I do the same thing at Costco!
Seems like durring the week they sample the crappy stuff like Jelly Belly's and animal crackers ... but on the weekends that place is hoppin' with grilled chicken, shrimp and hummus! WooHoo!

Thaat is so funny and a great idea. I am not near a Sams but walmart does it alot too. thanks for the idea.
