Default The biggest Sucker...I mean loser...I mean winner...

I was asked to take part in our gym's "Biggest Winner" contest (Yea - biggest loser, but not trademarked) and I had resisted for weeks. But the gym owner called me and got me into it. I'll be on his team, my big scarey trainer Jamal is heading another team though, so I have to stop training with him and start training with Ron again - yea - the guy who dumped me in December. (as a client, not romantically, by the way)

I donno folks...It seems pretty crazy, with how slowly the weight loss goes at this point, but maybe this is the kick in the pants I need? It is really nice to be part of a team. We all meet eachother tomorrow.

Oh - we're going to San Diego - not really - but we have a competition with the other teams to see who can get there first in terms of miles walked/biked etc. I got my team totally boosted today as I rode 30 miles - the first day of the contest!! They're calling me the ringer! So SD - here I come - and I'm bringing 9 friends and a very hot gym owner with me. Get ready!

I'm an employee, even if I did win, I couldn't have the $500.00. I can, apparently, take advantage of the team prizes and some of the other stuff too. We're going rock climbing and hiking, taking field trips to farmer's markets etc.

Should be fun. I'm alternately totally psyched and wishing I hadn't made such a big commitment. I think after I see my whole team together tomorrow, I'll feel better.

Good luck to you!! Drink lots of water!
