Weigh Ins
Anyone up for doing a weekly weigh in. I made a goal to weigh in only on Mondays. I thought it might be nice to do a weekly weigh in on here.
My weigh in for the day is 230, that is 4lbs down for last weigh in.

Sounds good to me, though I don't know if I will be patient enough to get on the scales only once a week. Anyway my weight for the day is 167.

Monday is my normal Chart day. I weigh daily, but chart once per week. 307 today - down 3 from last week. Weight loss rate starting to slow, as expected per my surgeon.
Here is my chart;

I want to weigh in weekly so badly... my scale has always read "E"... because I obviously weigh more then it will go up to. That has depressed me for a long time. I am looking forward to seeing a NUMBER on it.
You will hear me scream from MN when it gives me a reading

I'll try.....
Certo Kim, perche no?(Sure Kim, why not? Today I had one of my control visits with the gastric bypass team in Pisa and I weighed at 88kg or 194 lbs., I was amazed and believe this to be my lowest weight in about 30 years. The Dr. said I will probably go down another 8-14 lbs(3-6 kg.) and then hopefully I will start adding some muscle weight, as after 4 operations in 10 months my muscles are so small.

Guess I need to buy ANOTHER scale!
It's funny, the scale has always been my enemy.
First of all I always had to buy the more expensive one because most don't go over 300 lbs. Second of all I never liked what it had to say when I stepped on it. And thirdly I always ended up throwing it in the dumpster after two weeks due to frustration, only to repeat this process 6 months later!
I must say, I'm not sure how it will work for me now. I mean, my whole life I have failed at dieting and getting on the scale has always been terrible for me. But now that I've had the surgery, and I know in my head that yes, this time I will lose the weight ... in my heart it still seems like it's too good to be true, or like I'm just kidding myself and am doomed to 'fail' again.
Also, if I do go buy another scale, I don't want to obsess over it like I laways did before and weigh myself 10 times a day. Just to be disappointed if I don't lose 'enough'.
I had my surgery on the 6th, and 14 days after surgery I weighed in at my surgeons office 19 pounds lighter than the day of surgery. I was so happy I wanted to cry! It's been 25 days now since surgery and I don't know how much I weigh right now, BUT my clothes sure are getting bigger on me and my extra chin is leaving. I do want to know how I'm doing on the scale but am kinda nervous. I see my surgeon again in 3 more weeks and will weigh in again then ofcourse.
Does anyone know where I'm coming from? Am I making any sense at all??
What do you suggest? Scale, or no scale?!

I weigh every morning, but I post it on Tuesdays. (I had surgery on Tuesday, so I just stuck with it.)
As long as the scale goes in the right direction, it's hard to get me off of it!
