Bummer. GUess I'll have to see about refilling some of my water bottles! It won't kill me.
Must pack:
1. bottles of water
2. propel packets
3. pills
4. protein bars (soy joy, or any kind that WON'T MELT!)
5. snacks (though I'm sure we'll be able to find something to eat at ANY TIME of the day. Me, I'll be living in the SUSHI BAR!!! )
more to come.... lol

Many people do this, in suitcases and/or carrying a 12-pack. No kidding!!

Water suggestion
I have a suggestion regarding water:
There are Brita and Pur filter pitchers of different sizes that are a lot lighter and easier to pack and carry than lots of bottles of water. There are also good travel bottles (like Nalgene bottles, for example) that can hold a fair amount of water (say 32 oz. or a liter). I'm thinking of just packing a pitcher and two empty bottles, and then filling the pitcher with water from my stateroom, to use to refill the bottles as needed...
Claire or Cindy, since you're the ones who've been on this cruise line, do you know if there's any reason why the water in the staterooms could not be used for this?

What a wonderful idea!!!!
No, Eric, I see no reason why this wouldn't work. I have never been on NCL, but this is a first class ship, and a first class cruise line, and I brushed my teeth using the tap water, so I don't know why we couldn't use it to purify our water in the pitcher you mentioned.
