Thinner Blogs - now live!
Okay - I admit - the blog system that we have integrated in the forum isn't exactly what some people wanted when we installed it last year. It is great, but I know some of you wanted blogs that were not directly integrated with our forum.
As a result, we are rolling out a new platform this weekend. It is called thinnerblogs.com. It isn't quite ready just yet, and I haven't rolled it off of the staging server yet, but you will all soon be able to setup your own personal blog on our new site (if you want).
The system is powered by WordPress Mu (a higher powered version of wordpress.org). It is very similar to BlogSpot, which I know many of you use. You will be able to setup a blog like http://yourname.thinnerblogs.com. It won't have any advertisements, we won't charge you any money - it's all you!
I'll update this thread when it's all ready to go!

WOW John, that is great!! I have a blog on Blogspot but will most certainly move it on over to the thinnertimes blog once you get it up and running.
Once again, I would like to thank you so much for all you do for us. You are constantly making changes to make this the best site. I just really appreciate all of the effort you put into making us happy. Your support of us and the journey we are on is just really heart-warming for me...it honestly is. So once again, thank you!

A few more updates need to be applied before it's running in optimal conditions, but the software should now be accepting new blogs!
I have added about 7 themes, if anyone wants more I can download them. I'll post more information about this shortly.
