Knowing I can skip all the BSN stuff and go strait to a Masters is a HUGE Plus for me. Guess it's all going to depend on how well I actually like what I am doing once I get into it.

You guys are AWESOME!!! Thanks for all the info! I am totally going to be leaning on you BOTH in the years to come....so you thought you were out of it Beth...with your daughter graduating and all....HAHAHAHA GUESS AGAIN!!!
hehehe...yep...she is constantly grilling me with questions. I'm at work and sometimes I get 3 or 4 calls from her as she does her homework. I keep telling her..."dear, I'm just a Burn nurse, I don't know EVERYTHING!" *L* But apparently I'm doing something right because the instructors keep presenting her care plans as a good example of what they want. I'm really so proud of her. She is one of the top in her class. She just went through her Critical Care rotation and she is only 1 of 5 students that didn't fail the rotation. All the rest of them need to re-take it. She honestly is one smart cookie but I guess some of my answers to her must be right. *L* Can't believe she actually wants to work with Mom though...when she told me that I had to check her temp to make sure she wasn't ill.

Anyway, check things out Laura...there really are all kinds of options out there. That is one of the things that makes nursing so exciting.

For me, nope...no BSN in my future. I love what I'm doing so I really see no benefit to go on to get my degree. It would be ALOT of work for me to do that since as a diploma nurse I don't have any kind of degree..not even an associates. I just have 3 years of hospital training and a diploma. Those programs were very much in the hospital training with hospital run classes. I actually only had 6 months of college classes.
