Default hmmmmn...

Eric, I didn't realize you were also a friend of Dorothy! Hello, and welcome to the family!

Now, let's see. Souffle dishes...well, you can always just use it for a hot dish, but since you don't cook, put fruit or flowers in it...some Easter grass and you've got a home for Easter eggs, put it by the door and throw your keys in it, as well as your spare change, a door stop...the hat is a good idea, but isn't it a little heavy and slippery?

OMG, Duckie, we have completely hijacked your thread! So sorry. Maybe we should start a separate thread for uses for Eric's souffle dish?

You people, every dang one of you are just so cool. I love the way people relate on TT. Straight, GLBT, I am so happy to have found a site where people can be people. I read all that stuff about curly hair and perms and all and I just felt like a brother listening in on my sisters' phone conversations. THANKS FOR BEING YOU!
And as a pastor, my apologies for all the crap people may have gone thru or go thru from the Church. I am UCC (yep, I even know Rev. Jeremiah Wright personally) and we're very liberal, although churchpeople aren't always that liberal-minded. Anyway, I'll stop babbling now. God bless us all, huh!?!

I don't know where to begin :

Duckie, I'm so glad your bro grew up cool - Harleys and moccasins are an acceptable later stage of disco fabulousness, so my worries were unnecessary!

Donna, you have some fantastic suggestions which lead me to believe that you are actually (1) a gay man masquerading as a lesbian, or (2) Martha Stewart in disguise as a TT member, although arguably, Martha may also be a gay man masquerading as a lesbian, so maybe we only need (1). Your ideas are genius, but NOTHING, not weight and certainly not slipperiness, could dissuade a truly talented gay man from making a fabulous hat out of ANYTHING. That's why God invented hot glue guns. Big Bear Jeff, back me up on this...

Bill, you rock! Thank you! I'm actually a very active member of a church (Episcopal) in which I've found a spiritual home after having been emphatically "unchurched" for many years. I'm blessed to have many, many people in my parish who are very loving, open, and welcoming to GLBT members, and we have some openly gay clergy people who are fantastic. Our church (I'm speaking nationally and internationally here) is going through a difficult time regarding this issue (there's usually an article in the New York Times about it a couple of times a month), but there are more loving people than hating people, in my experience - the haters just get more press...

Katie, the black and white is beautiful, but I really dig the orange glow around the shirt and suit Duckie's brother is wearing. I say let it shine...

Eric, your post about Martha Stewart and glue guns, etc is a riot and your kind words directed to me are most appreciated. Hey, in my Book, we've got a lot more in common than we have in differences. Like they say, "I'm straight, but I'm not narrow!"
(Sadly, I still have the waist and ass to prove it...but I'm working on that!)
Peace!

Okay.. here are a few more pictures.
This one: Me and an ex-boyfriend. He was a great guy, big heart but horrible BF (monogomy issues lol). He and I were friends still after we broke up though. He died in a motorcycle accident when I lived in WI. The reason I am posting it however is THE HAIR! O M G! Nice straw like, permed, needs the color done with backwards skunk look. LMAO

Okay, this is my mom (in middle) and her two sisters. This is the SCARIEST SANTA I have ever seen! I don't know how they can look happy.

My dad, being a goof. (It runs in the family. lol) They were having some sort of 70s party (god, I hope that is the reason for this outfit. lol)
