Oh, Debbie!
You go right ahead and use my words, grrl! If you're going to pay royalties, you can deposit them in my cyber-bake sale account for going on the cruise...
How many cyber bake sales do you think it'll take? The great thing is that cyber brownies don't make you dump!

Deb, here is something to share with ya....My DH is gone.We do not talk much at all. He called me the other night and if he used the "F" word once he used it 1000 times. In fact, I believe Ran used the "F" word as a noun, verb, adjective...Good Grief!!! I was kinda shocked but I know that it is from being around a bunch of Joes( Soldiers) all guys.Did'nt bother me I was just F'ing happy he is ok for another day
My DH even said, " Man, I F'ing miss the two of you" LOL
Anyway, Nothing shocks me anymore from the Male world.

Yeah, you know, the more I think about it, the more right I guess you all are about the guy thing. I was in the Army, but sometimes I forget how truly out there some guy conversations can get. I myself can use the "f' word like a true artist, and it's one of the more useful skills I took from my time in the service. (That and being able to pack 2 weeks worth of clothes in a carry on with room for make-up, a book and a snack.)
I'm so glad you got to talk to your man. I know it must be so hard for you right now...my thoughts are with you and your family. BTW, I saw the pic of you with the rifle, and you are one sexy momma! I bet he looks at that pic every day and can't wait to come home to you. F'ing A....you know I'm right. LOL.

Goal! I did it!
107 pounds gone since my RNY
121 total pounds gone forever!
I finally have a "normal" BMI
Reached my first goal of 145...and setting a new one of 135.
Reached 135 and have decided to lose another five if I can.
Reached my new goal of 130...and I think I want to stop losing now. "Stop losing now".Wow, I never thought I'd ever say that!
BMI 23

OK for the first time I kinda side with the Guy
I know I know. But you have to think about it from his point of view. I love my husband and sex is wonderful I am still pre-op but and it is a big one I am ashamed of my body plain and simple I don't have the energy that I will when I lose weight. I think that this guy is just wondering is this going to change and who better then to ask someone who's husband or wife has had surgery. Maybe instead of your husband saying here she is he should of said why dont you go on TT and ask. Would it be bad if someone was on here in the friends and family and asked if the sex is better after losing weight. He is just lost and maybe needs this forum to ask all the ?'s he is wondering about. And for all of the wonderfully stupid ?'s out there I get them from my family all the time I just tell them I have made a very intelligent decision for my life and Im sorry if they can not support it. I know this is just my 2 cents but I feel bad for my husband who would probably ask the same question.

A Male Point of View.
Ok, it is Paul opening up his month on this one.
Being a guy, and I am sure of this. I find that kind of talk really distasteful and really I believe it has to do with the way a man is expected to talk and act in the good old USA. It is an American Male thing, as I can tell you from traveling and living here in Europe it is not the majority of men that have there thoughts centering around the sexual realm of things.
I am grateful for having parents that taught me different, I never felt comfortable hearing my male friends engage in talk about how good it was or was it better with or which direction is go......
I found it disrespectful to themselves and to the female population. Now having said this, I understand why it happens, but for me I am glad it is not something that would come out of my mouth.
For those who experience this type of narrow minded thinking I apologize on behalf of all males and please know ladies there are guys that are not gay like myself out there who dont think and talk this way.
I have heard all those stupid questions about new addictions, skin hanging, you name it I have heard, I think deep inside I tried to ignore it, but the words went deep and ripped.
Keep hope that people become more aware and sensative.

My adorable daughter (see album) is soon to be 23. Back when she was in HighSchool we'd talk and I almost always ended the conversation having her repeat my jokingly said phrase: "Men are scum." before she left for a date. Well, maybe not all men are scum, but like one of you has on your signature, "If there's tires or testicles involved there's bound to be trouble." (Forgive me if I've not been entirely accurate with that paraphrase....But guys certainly can be jerks. And they just make it tougher for the rest of us when we're not acting "jerk-like"....but it's in that 'why' gene...we take turns.
Sorry 'bout that!

I was visiting relatives in Florida last week and was so taken aback with the freedom they all felt to say whatever came to their minds...
Sister who has just lost 40 lbs. --"I did it the OLD FASHIONED way...."
30 yr. old niece -- "Auntie Debbie, you don't look as SAGGY as I expected you to. Are you going to have that skin on your stomach removed?"
And the most embarrasing...
In front of a roomful of men whom I did not know...
"So, are your breasts hanging down? Are you going to have to have them fixed?
HUH?
Sheesh!

Remember Mad Magazine? Remember the "Snappy Answers to Stupid Questions" column? How about this?
"Yeah, they sure are droopy, but no, I plan to just tuck them into my pants" The only thing I'm concerned about is making sure they don't show when I wear a dress."
It's guaranteed to be a conversation killer, during which you exit the room while the X-Whys ponder that mental image....

Dang! I wish I could think fast on my feet. (Or would that be "fast on my saggy butt?")
Ok, I just memorized that answer and I just DARE anyone to reference anything SAGGY on me. I'll whip out that remark and....
....then blame it on you, ok?
