Bless you, Teri. I always have thought of you as a first class person, and this is just more evidence of that.
You are loving and nurturing, and I wish you and your family JOY.

My sincere deepest sympathy for you loss.
Krystal will be very happy living with her grandma. I too would do anything for my grandson and any other grandchildren that may come. She is really lucky.
Peace to you and your family.

My dear Teri, I'm so very sorry for your loss and the loss to your family. Like others have said, it is an amazing testament to your character and that of Ellie that you both were able to hang on to each other. My stepmother has a similar relationship with her ex-MIL and I was always impressed by the way they interacted. I am also envious that you were able to keep Ellie in your life since when I split with my Ex, I still cared deeply for his mother and really, really wanted to stay in touch, but we ended up never speaking again. You were very blessed.
Krystal is also very lucky to have you. I'm sorry for the upheaval in her life and hope her dad gets his life in order quickly, but she is so blessed to have you. I wish you luck with all the arrangements you will be making. (((((HUGS)))))

Terri,
my condolences to you and warmest wishes for strength and fortitude in your own life, dealing with your loss and strength for looking after Krystal. Is it not extraordinary how, when one door closes, another opens? And you are there in both cases?
We are here for you, 24 hours a day!
Best,
Vim
