Default 6 week update and a WOW

I had my 6 week check up yesterday and I am pleased to say I am down 35lbs. I think I finally hit a stall but I am ok with this. I was told that I am not eating enough and they helped me out with some ideas. I have to start eating every 2 hours which I have not been doing. I have to admit I am struggling with getting my food in. I still have no appetite. I was also told that I was lactose intolerant which is what I kinda thought. Protein shakes have been making me sick as of late.

Now for my WOW. They sat me down and said do you have any idea how many lives you have made an impact on. I had no idea. Since the series aired they have had more people come in that never thought they could do this. It seems I have inspired some to make to take the next step. They have also had people call who were not interested in the surgery but wanted to know how I was doing. I can't explain the feeling that came over me. I teared up and felt like wow I made a difference in someones life. It can't get any better than that.

Kim - that is the most important WOW moment I've ever heard. Good for you hon! I hope they will do another follow up story with you in a few months...

What are the symptoms of being lactose intolerant? I'm having some issues, and wonder....

Default Sounds great to me.

Kim, you sound alot like me when I was within my newbie period and even at times now at 9 months out. It is good that you are setting up an eating plan of every two hours, that should help with getting enough nutrients into your system as this will make an impact overall. Keep up the great work.
That is great about your story being shared and that it has helped people. I think when we can give back to something that has given to us, it is a wonderful feeling. You have something to be proud of and it is wonderful that people out there have the kindness to ask about you too.

Katie,

When I drink my protein shakes I get a sick feeling in my stomach usually followed by diarrhea. About an hour later I feel fine. It only happens with the milk based products.

Good for you Kim!

You ARE an inspiration and while you did do a good thing for yourself, your experiences had a HUGE impact on others. How great is that?

You're AWESOME!
