Default Ring Sizing....Need Your Opinion

We were supposed to go to Disneyland last week, but Meggie got sick...we postposed to this week. Now it is COLD out and my hands are so cold...and now my ring is REALLY loose. I HATE not wearing my ring, I LOVE it and what it stands for with all my heart. So, I am tempted to go get it sized before our trip...I can not imagine losing it in D-land. BUT, there is this little voice in my head saying "in the summer you will be hot and your hands will swell"...it is also saying "hey fatty...you might gain weight" UGH!!! What to do????

Two words: WAL-MART (the jewelry section...)

I bought ring adjusters at WalMart for about $1.50. They are just little plastic rings that fit around your ring and keep it from falling off. You get a whole bunch of them in the pack.

They work fine for me--my fingers have shrunk, but I'm only about halfway to my goal, so I don't want to have the ring sized yet...

Hope this helps!

-Mike

CIndy,
Go buy those ring gaurds at Wal-Mart. You just put them on the bottom of your rings to make it have a better fit. They are pretty cheap from what I hear.

Whit...you are right...BUT Wal-Mart is closer and faster. If I got it sized it would have to be tonight and then I would be stuck in the mall for a couple of hours waiting for it. I am going to run to Wal Mart now and get the ring guards...and a yellow rain poncho for Meg since she saw the pink one I bought her and almost puked....I am never going to turn her into a girl.

Thanks Mike and Dawn!!!!

I'm guessing it just comes naturally, like my charm and good looks.

The REAL answer is more likely that my wife drags me to Wal-Mart all the time AND I used to work there in college. (I worked third shift and sometimes slept on the layaway shelves where no one could find me...that's a story for another day, though...)

I have had my wedding rings sized 4 times! Each time I thought I was done loosing weight, or I wasn't going to change that much, but no way - I THINK I am finally done. I was a 7 3/4 and now a 5 1/4. Takes me about 4 weeks to get my ring back from being sized....a few hours for you....oh my!

Don't take the chance and wear it and loose it. Get it resized! You will walk around single for a while, but thats ok!
