I laughed so much at this, my stomach hurt.
It's been the worst winter (so far) WA has seen in years. Thankfully, nothing like our poor guy in the story but I'm glad I have a wood stove!

Cute
Hi Beth,
I loved this.. what a hoot!
My method of removing snow is to drive up and down my driveway making my own lil walking path. I just wait for the darn stuff to melt - if at all humanly possible... I hate snow!
Hugs,
Kimberly

But shoveling is good exercize if you don;t break your back doing it
And I have a question for those of you who lost power for 5 days. Don't laugh, okay? How in the world do you dry your hair after you shower? Can you shower? Icky - I am big on personal hygiene 'n stuff...so this has me worried...

You couldn't live out where we do without having a generator. Just over a year ago, we had the mother of all winds and we were without power for just over a week.
We also have a wood stove that I can cook on.

Yes, Whitney you can still shower. Just just let your hair dry the natural way. Biggest problem for us when we lose power is that we have an electric stove so we are unable to cook so it is a lot of eating out.

Well...I do love eating out. I think I will buy a generator to use the hair dryer, though Other than that, candles can be so romantic...
