I do it all the time with my kids...it is very therapeutic. And I love the fuzzy posters that you use the markers to fill in the spaces. Tinkerbell is my absolute favorite. I have a Tink collection of everything....

Well, if we're confessing stuff, I might as well confess to the following:
- I have a very serious addiction to Sharpie markers. Even the kids at school make fun of me because I have so many. I can't get enough. In fact, I may run out later and get me some more.
- In less than two weeks, I've gone through an entire bottle of sugar free chocolate syrup in my protein shakes. I don't know if that's bad or not.
- I stole my wife's weight watcher Panini out of the freezer and ate it in the back bedroom, but I could only eat half of it, so I hid it in the refrigerator so I could have it later, but hid it where she wouldn't find it.
- I've eaten most of the baby's Sweet Potato cereal snacks. They've got nothing in them practically but they taste SOOO good! I told my wife that her mother must have eaten them.
- I lied to the 16 year old kid who came to our door to sell rug shampoo. She said she was nervous since this was her first job, but I told her that we had just had our rugs done by the rival company.
- I was holding the baby above my head earlier and she drooled right in my mouth. I didn't spit it out, I just swallowed it. That seemed easier than getting up.
- I lied to the people at DirectTV so I could get Showtime for free for 3 more months. Honestly, I'll probably lie to them again in 3 months to keep getting Showtime for free. I don't feel that guilty about this one.
God I feel better.
Good thread Michelle. Oh, and I color all the time with the kids at school. My mother-in-law buys tons of coloring books and colors in them. It IS therapeutic--try it with a Sharpie...it's a whole new level of pleasure! (Though the Sharpie's bleed...just so you know!
-Mike

My question is regarding the level of commitment here, Duck. First of all, did you get genuine Crayola crayons or the lame ass substitutes? If you got the Crayola brand, did you get the 24 pack, or did you truly invest and get the 64 box with the built in sharpener? Do you outline the part you are coloring with that color, or do you just shade in the color? Do you carefully color all in one direction, or do you just throw the color on willy nilly? Inquiring minds want to know!
