Default BIG MEDICINE: TLC Wednesday nights

Did anyone watch tonight?

A guy in my support group lost 300 pounds in 1 year... 3-4 yrs ago... his biggest complaint was the flappy skin on his legs... now I know what he was talking about! He had that surgery a year ago --- recently had the TT... and looks great! He's anxious for the "Moob Job" --- but not rushing into anything... AWESOME

Trinston's surgery... was the "central line" they put in like my DH's PIC??? Sure seemed very much the same... I'm glad things worked out for him in spite of his insurance company!

addicting show... LOVE IT!

What about the young lady that was gaining weight and thought it might be in issue with her pouch?

She had to have known it was because she wasn't following the basic rules. Right? It just goes to show that this surgery is just a tool...you still need to be aware of what you're eating.

i always miss it... =(

I have a comment about that girl... i know of a couple girls that got the surgery couple years ago... and a girl that got it a year ago... im not sure how much they all lost... but the 1 that got it a year ago, lost over 100lbs, and the other 2 girls only lost like 80 (each) in the 2 years...

and i figured out why... its because they were brought in the proper direction about eating habits... they never had to talk to a nutritionist, they werent given guidelines...
but i think doctors are getting better at making sure that this is necessary to get the surgery..
i know for my cousin he didnt do it, because it was optional.

I totally agree!

My jaw hit the ground when she said something about eating 3 1/2 slices of pizza.

I thought the young lady was quick to blame her mother's cooking... no one is putting it in her mouth! Wonder if she's living there "free" with childcare thrown in as well... Her head was definately not screwed on right...

I hope she gets it together... cute gal!
