I think I've mentioned this to others here and there, but here it is formally:
I'm a middle school teacher teaching gifted students, as well as a Study Skills/Test Taking Skills class. I also do staff development/teacher training around Western New York and was gearing up for teaching a college class this spring but it didn't fill...I'll start that now in the fall.
In my spare time, I like to write, play on the computer, and I collect shells. I've collected them since I was in the 3rd grade and at one time had over 4,000 specimens. I trimmed my collection down over the years to include just Murex and Conch species shells and I collect specimen grade shells now. I love what nature creates. I also like rocks and fossils, but am not an active collector, though I probably have a good 1/4 ton of rocks around the house and at school in boxes that I've collected for years! (I love geodes, especially...and I help our teachers organize a mass geode breaking every year at school...the kids love it!)

Yes I do - how much do you want to spend, I know a place where people sell shave ready straights vintage - high quality for as little as $50.00. Even a Dovo new is not shave ready - it will need to go to a honemeister - another 25-40$

I am a stay at home mom with a husband who works so hard so I can stay at home. He works at Wal Mart, two different schools as bus drivers, a maintance man, plow Guy, and volunteer firefighter. I have offered many times to go back to work and he says no because he wants me to raise our children not someone else. I am spoiled. Before I became a mom I worked as a CNA, Manager in a fast food Chain, Wal Mart Cashier and Babysitter for many years. My hobbies include getting everyone well in family and Keeping them well.

I wear a lot of hats were I am. I am the Human Resources Manager for an internet based business in Western New York that sells Voip (Voice over internet protocol) equipment and tech support. I also do all of their accounting (AR and AP), and manage all of the processes and aspects of returns. I am also the dish washer and coffee maker, buyer, and file maintainer and office manager. Its a small company - everyone tends to do everything.
In my spare time, I love TT, riding horses, spending time with DH, loving on my 2 Aussie Sheherds, shoveling snow (NOT), working out, being organized, and making lists....

I work for the City in the Financial Services Department, I do accounts payable, it's not very exciting, but not a day goes by that we don't get in trouble for laughing to loud at something that happened in the office. I just graduated with a degree in History and a minor in Accounting. I'm hoping to go back to school and get my teaching certificate sometime this year. In my spare time I love to read trashy historical romance novels, they have totally ruined me on men because if I don't marry a Duke i'm not going to be happy. lol

Fun thread!
I work for The United Methodist Conference Center... as both the building manager, and the Service Department manager... I've been there since 1990... This is the headquarters for all the U.M. churches in the state --- my office maintains the mailing database, prints and pumps out mailings...
I also cartoon for the local newspaper and do various free-lance art jobs... currently working on one for Playscapes... ( www.playscapes.com)... I am Jimmy the Groundhog's official artist and webmaster ( www.groundhogcentral.com)... I am a co-founder of an animal rescue group and have created & maintain our website ( www.arvss.petfinder.com)
My current passions: obviously - drawing... computer graphics & web pages, crochet, and learning and sharing everything possible about RNY...
I have a DH (married 36 yrs), two grown kids (both married), 2 adorable granddaughters (another grandbaby on the way) and a spoiled Millennium Kitty named Gracie.
