Default Unrelated to WLS - but GREAT news!

Hi all,

Some of you San Diegans may remember a news story about a tragic double murder that happened about a year and a half ago. A young mother and her 10-month-old baby were found strangled in their apartment. The baby was found hanging by a noose from his crib. Yeah, I know, it takes an extraordinary kind of monster to do something like that. Well that young woman was my cousin Tori and earlier this week they arrested the a$$hole who did it!

It has been a long and heartwrenching year and a half for my family. She was my aunt Dayna's ONLY CHILD! For a long time, it looked like his family's money and political connections were going to allow him to walk. If anyone felt a gust of wind on Wednesday night, it was my family's collective sigh of relief that justice will finally be served.

Here's the link to the story:

Wow - what a horrible and tragic story. I know that nothing will take away the pain from you and your family for their loss, but I hope that with this monster behind bars that you will be able to be at peace.

What a shame, I'm so sorry things like this happen. It makes me wander what makes a person become such a monster capable of doing such crimes and horrible things. What is it that a person can get out of killing another human being? An innocent child? I just don't know...

I hope they nail his ass to the wall or wait... let him go to prison and let some of the guys in there do it for him. It would certainly be proper justice in my mind.

I hope that seeing this through helps your family heal even though nothing will ever make you whole again.

Amen to THAT! <shrugs> Who knows, that may already be happening. From what I've been led to believe, anyone who lands in jail for crimes agaist a child -and I'm not just talking about sexual crimes- gets a "special welcome" to their new home.

Thank you all for your hugs and support. I posted this because the vermin is local to San Diego and I think animals like him need to be revealed for the monsters they are.

Glad to hear they found and put this lowest-form-of-slime away! No, it won't erase the tragedy, but for your family, it's something. Prayers to your family Janina.
