Donna - you are freakin hillarious!!! I only suggested TeaBear coz the woman has a serious obsession with her tea but you are right of course - I remember the Panty Exchange and so I second SMartyBear - let us know Marty???

Cape Town, that's it. She asked me what part of SA are you from. She's been in the States almost 5 years and hasn't lost any of her accent. In fact, she still doesn't know some of our words.

I was born in Pretoria and grew up in Pretoria- North, but we moved to the country (platteland) when I was 14/15 to a small town called Wakkerstroom (Lively Stream), not far from Volksrust (which is halfway between Pretoria and Durban) . The little village (Wakkerstroom) had less than 500 people and I went to school in Volksrust and had to attend boarding school - the three years there were some of the happiest of my life and we went home every weekend (together with anybody and everybody whos parents could not afford to pick them up every weekend) and spent the weekends on the backs of horses living a carefree life - I do miss it!!!
