If I may, I would like to nominate my good friend Rene' (Hunnyblond) to be our HunnyBear. She is definitely bear-worthy! Rene', would you do us the honor of joining us in our bearly pursuits? We would be so beary pleased!
Wow, MandaPanda, a vision quest is a big deal! 3 days in the forest with no food or water or fire? I'm impressed! Do you have a Native American to work with you on it? I'd love to hear more about it. And, another question...do you ever come to San Diego? I know a lot of Arizonans come here to get away from the extreme heat. If you ever make your way west, you've gotta let us know so we can meet up! pm me with your phone # and I'll give you mine. We have much we can discuss!

I understand that, just as we can be dual nationals, Bears can also be GymRats... Is that true???
Bear hugs all round and many thanks GwennieBear!

Ms Donna,
Don't be so impressed. It's a namby pamby "Luxury" vision quest. At a lodge. In Sedona. I have yet to book it. Still working out the details. I was offered a vison quest back in 1999 maybe 2000. I was honored but told them I would much rather be an honorory member of the tribe in Tucson. Honestly, I was scared to death. I would like to find them again. Ash would think it so cool to be baptized by fire. A real vision quest would be hazardous to my wl journey at this point. I would never consider going in "unmedicated"
We are looking at vacation spots for this year. I will throw in San Diego as a possibility.
One PM coming up. I use my cell as my modem so if I don't answer you know why. I'm most likely HERE. lol

*ahem* *small, tentative cough at the mouth of the bear cave*
"May I join the clan please? I do hereby promise to honor and cherish all bears, especially the ones on TT."
Now that I've gotten up the gumption to ask, I have no idea of a name. I don't have a totem. I love watching the birds in my backyard. (You know, the ones the squirrels steal...errrrr...borrow from? ) I think my favorite is the chickadee: small, bright, bold. On the other hand, I have always said that someday, when I get down to a normal weight, I would finally get a tattoo: a phoenix rising from the ashes. (Yup, like Dumbledore's.)
Please and thank you!

I third the CeeCeeBear (cute!)
I'm gonna get my third tat soon. On my lower back, yes a tramp stamp I haven't decided what it's to be yet. Something symbolizing mind/body/soul. I need to get my panda one touched up. She's turning 15 this year and is not looking so good.

A tramp stamp? I've never heard it called that, but I have secretly always wanted to be a "bad girl"! I think you may have answered my question: where to put this tat when I get it? Thanks! (BTW- Have you seen the pics of Lealpachienne/Marie? Awesome!)

Still humbly awaiting acceptance and naming from Gwen...
