Default WOW Moment...Losing Weight Saved Me From a Speeding Ticket

I don't have many "WOW" moments anymore...but got one today...right when I needed it (was having a really bad day). On my way home I was driving 83 miles an hour...not paying attention...dwelling on what a crappy day I had had. I thought the speed limit was 70, but as the nice Police Office filled me in...it was 65 in this stretch of highway. After she took my DL, Registration and insurance info she went back to her car...as she walked away I began to "boo hoo" it...thinking to myself that this was the cherry on top of my crappy day.... she came back to the car and told me that she noticed that I had lost a lot of weight. She said as being a "big girl" herself, she knows how hard that is and then she congratuled me. She then proceeded to say that she was going to give me a verbal warning on the speeding ticket and a fix it ticket for my DL...she said I had to update my address and my picture since it looks nothing like me (her words)! Then she said she had to put my weight down on the ticket and she guessed that I was 160...HAAAAAAAA....she asked me approx. what I weigh and I told her 182...she said she never would believe that and had to write over her "guess"! As I drove away I thought about all of you and how excited I was to get to share this with you all. It seems like a lot of people punish us for losing weight...you know, jealous co-workers, friends, etc...but this goes to show that some people (strangers) are happy for us!

That is the greatest police encounter ever! I had not even thought about updating my license. I wonder what weight it says. I'll have to check that out!
Congratulations on a great "Wow" moment!!!

That's a really cool thing to happen to you! I'm glad it got you out of a ticket, too. You must be 6' tall, because your pix sure don't look like you weigh 183. 153 I could believe!
