This came as quite a shock to me.

Dave - just know that you and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers.

I don't know how much you want to tax your brain, but what about learning a language?

I have a friend who's husband broke his pelvis just before Christmas. He's now learning Spanish with the help of a CD and his laptop.

Okay, how about starting some seeds indoors for Spring planting? Not too much work now, you can talk to them while you're recuperating, and you'll have a goal for Spring when you're up to it!
