Words Women Use: A Refresher Course
1.) FINE : This is the word women use to end an argument when they are right and you need to shut up.
2.) Five Minutes : If she is getting dressed, this means a half an hour . Five Minutes is only five minutes if you have just been given five more minutes to watch the game before helping around the house.
3.) Nothing : This is the calm be fore the storm. This means something, and you should be on your toes. Arguments that begin with nothing usually end in fine.
4.) Go Ahead : This is a dare, not permission. Don't Do It!
5.) Loud Sigh : This is actually a word, but is a non-verbal statement often misunderstood by men. A loud sigh means she thinks you are an idiot and wonders why she is wasting her time standing here and arguing with you about nothing. (Refer back to #3 for the meaning of nothing.)
6.) That's Okay : This is one of the most dangerous statements a women can make to a man. That's okay means she wants to think long and hard before deciding how and when you will pay for your mistake.
7.) Thanks : A woman is thanking you, do not question, or FAINT. Just say you're welcome.
8.) Whatever : Is a women's way of saying $%#$ YOU!
9.) Don't worry about it, I got it : Another dangerous statement, meaning this is something that a woman has told a man to do several times, but is now doing it herself. This will later result in a man asking "What's wrong?" for the woman's response refer to #3.

I think you're my brother from another mother...you crack me up, dude.
I am guilty of using #2 myself, for me, 5 minutes equals a couple of hours and possibly a week or more.
I also use FINE, NOTHING, and DON'T WORRY ABOUT IT, I GOT IT.
Needless to say, I get in trouble a lot.

lmao
I just read this to my husband, and we cracked up and fully agree that you have it down! I wonder if your wife realizes how much you actually understand her...might score you some extra points. I can't even think of one you might of left out. I will repost if I do. You are hilarious.
Here's one I do that my hubby insists I add
"Mmm Hmm"(with sarcastic tone)-meaning "Yes I heard you but have little regard for what you have to say at this point unless its 'I'm sorry, of course you're right.'"

Hijack...
Katzz..
So you decided to go with Dr laura? She is awesome you won't be sorry. She is a bright and shinning star in the GBS surgeons world and I totally respect her. Without her I'd still be wondering in the desert of the unknown with my complications!
I'll keep you in my prayers on the 14th and if you wnat I'll come visit in the hospital. I know I didn't really wnat to see anyone personally so that's why I ask.
Stay safe and do what she tells you and you will do well.

Why not do both?
I used to go deep sea fishing with my college roommate...but with kids and distance...we sort of stopped. Those were the days though...drinking all day in the hot sun, getting so toasted that if we did catch anything, we were more likely to stab ourselves than actually get the hook out of the fish. Also, we never cleaned the fish...we gave them away at the dock and would go to the seafood buffet--it was easier. (And we were drunk...)
Also, my wife needs recognition that I heard her...maybe acknowledgment is the better word...so sometimes I just grunt if I don't have a specific verbal response. She says that's at least a little better than silence.
Later,
-Mike
