I promised myself that I would not post to the OT - Please Beware Thread anymore since Donna requested that it die.... BUT...I wanted to reply to some things said there since I brought the Thread back out on 12/31/07.

DUCKIE - Michelle, thank you for always having my back. I do not think you are mean. I believe you and I are a lot alike in the "if it looks like a duck and quacks like a duck...it must be a duck" department.

HAMBURGLER - Thanks for the tip on sharing perscription meds... I know it is illegal, but I highly doubt the cops are going to come bang down my door for offering to help a friend when her pain meds were stolen. That being said, I already gave it away to a very much loved friend of mine that needed it more then me... and she isn't an addict.

LWARD76 - PUH-LEASE... A DRUG DEAL GONE BAD...Holy crap, give me a break.... Donna said you got to the game a half time, but I really think you were pulling into the parking lot when we were all leaving.

MILADYB & EPITOME - I understand where you are coming from... I really do. If these threads bug you... just don't read them. It is as easy as that.

BRIDGETGIRL - I thought it was time she be ousted... when I confronted her regarding the Janie/Suzy incognito thingy she came back with a bitchy reply. If she didn't want this all to blow up she would have NEVER let her dual identify be know... none of us looked up her IP address etc., so she must have been itching for this all to come out in the open.

KITTENS4 - Elaine!! Everyone IS entitled to their opinion. I believe these "flame wars" are a part of the forum that will never go away. I try to stay out of them, but my inner Scorpio comes out on whatever side I believe in...hence why I am involved in a lot of them. The flame war on the boobies thread had nothing to do with the boobies for me...and had nothing to do with the original post, but I can not handle people telling other people how they should feel, what they should think how their spouses should think, etc. By the way, I tried putting the syrup directly into my cup this morning and not into the Cocoa Latte maker and it worked great and no syrup got singed on the bottom!!

ALABAMACHICK - Trinia - My soul Sister is how I think of you. We think so much alike on so many issues/topics. You seriously need counseling because you have issues. TOTALLY kidding, you know how I feel about this from all of my PM's. How can anyone tell us that we need therapy when they don't even KNOW us.... We can't have an opinion that goes against someone elses or we are thought to have "fat" issues. Give me a break. I have problems in life, don't get me wrong...but my problems have NOTHING to do with being fat or not fat. I am one of the happiest people I know!

WHOO...glad I got all that off my chest. It was getting hard to keep my promise to myself!!! Wow, I usually don't do long posts.. ha ha ha...

Cindy, it's hard for people to speak their minds. Thank you for your honesty. I don't believe that a sensitive issue will get better or go away if we ignore it. It's like covering your eyes and saying "If I can't see it, it must not be there".

As a newbie to this post and having my surgery on 12/27, I have wanted information. The more information I seek, the worse this website gets. It is hard to avoid reading this crap when you are doing a search and refreshing new posts and it just pops up without any warning as to the real contents.

I understand that people share a lot of personal stuff on public posts, but sometimes some things just to remain private. Afterall, that is what the private message option is all about.

Please spare the rest of us searching for hopeful information to drama and private message your issues!

Also, this Thread is titled OT (means OFF TOPIC) and is under "Solcialize"...if you are researching WLS issues, nutrition, etc... seach under the correct section.

well you have a good point. Maybe it is time to find other support options. Nothing but drama here. This wonderful website is going to go down hill with all of the rudeness.

Seriously...we had an issue a year or so ago when someone got offended because Bridget told them that sneaking chocolate 3 weeks out of surgery wasn't okay and people shouldn't be patting her on the back for it. If you can't take a little honesty...well what I had originally planned to say was really rude. But ya know what, I'm pregnant, hormonal, and I'm allowed to be a little cranky.

Unfortunately, this forum is not all sweetness, light, and sunshine blown up people's arses. It's real, and real can get ugly. Deal with it or move on.

LOL... no, in the boobies thread Bmusical said "So please do me a favor and find away to be happy for other people and please stop being that fat girl in the corner hating everyone and herself.".....so the corner is where we sit hating everyone!

And feel free to speak your mind... it is feeling very freeing...prego or not!! Like taking your bra off when it is two sizes too small (been there, done that)!
