I can understand when newbies feel this way, but remember if a thread starts off as OT, that means OFF TOPIC... nothing to do with weightloss surgery.. right? You knew what OT means, your just a nosey as alot of people, and if you START reading a thread that HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH WLS, then STOP READING it. It is not rocket scince!!!!!!

Im glad you outed that miserable woman. She appeared to be very kind, and sweet, generous.... it blew me away that she was decietful and a thief! Thank you Cindy for OUTTIGG her miserable ass! Oh yeah, she's narcissitic she will be back with a new name to read about herself again! Maybe we should have our very own SUZY thread so she can read about herself!

Happy New Year Peeps! Out with the old and in with the new!!

It cracks me up how people comment about being all "offended" by certain posts....what the heck? If you are offended, don't read it...delete it..or block the person! Like Bridget said, it's not rocket science. This is the internet people!! It's also a free country...we don't always have to be discussing gastric bypass surgery on here...It's pretty easy to walk away and not log on....or if you see a post with a subject matter like "OT Beware" or "Elaine is a weirdo" or "Vanessa has a nice rack" ...and you are looking for WLS advice...then obviously those aren't the posts for you to read! It's pretty easy to just not read it and move on to something titled "what did you eat today?" or "stomach pain, can you diagnose me on the internet?" or "I'm having surgery tomorrow, what do I need to pack?" something along those lines... I skip over stuff that doesn't appeal to me, and if I do read something that is of no interest to me....I just back out and go on to the next post....I don't feel the need to respond to EVERYTHING...and certainly if it's not about me, or anyone I'm fond of, then why get into it? I remember being new...and I'd look for stuff that pertained to me...and my situation at the time. I asked lots of questions...some good...some stupid...and everyone here was very nice...and still is...I think you get what you give on this forum! So, that's my rambling for the day! Mama is done!!!

It really blows my mind when people who have barely bookmarked this site get all up on their high horse to tell us what to do. Just as 'normal' people have more in their lives than food and eating, we have more to our lives--maybe more so, as we are on a new journey with many new experiences, and fluck it! We get to talk about it. How it impacts our eating and food, how we integrate those new experiences in our lives, and how our lives have changed course as a result of the surgery. We are all complete packages. I'll wager that same whining poster will be happy to post OT threads on here in 8 months when her relationship hits the skids or a couple of her 'life issues' rear their ugly heads for her to resolve.....tsk tsk, kiddos, some of us on here have done well, some not so much, but we are all humans just trying to 'hume' the best way we can.

I wish this forum would be gifted with some TOLERANCE in this new year, and although mine has been sorely tested over the last few months, I am happy to contribute a little of mine.

It's all good! Life is beautiful! Experts agree! Nothing is wrong!

(Even I didn't buy that one....but I'm trying!)
