my kids are visiting a different state for the holidays while i had my surgery....i talked to my son last night and he said "mom, send me a picture so i can see what you look like."......lol, i was like "i look the same honey, it's gonna take a while....hee,hee,hee"

OMG i totally kwym! 4 days after my surgery when i got out of the hospital my 14 year old was like " uh mom, did you have your surgery because your still fat" I think i wanted to smack her face off. hahaa

My kids were the same way...confused!! But here is the kicker, there was a guy at work that was confused as to why I was still fat when I came back to work 4 weeks later....HELLLOOOOOOOOO... I had to explain the whole surgery to him and I'm still not sure he got it....

When my son was in kindergarten the teacher must have talked to them about the presidential election. My son got home from school and was running all around the house. I said "what are you running for?" His response "I'm running for President!" I just about fell out of my chair laughing.

It's not just kids...it's elderly people too.

My father in law told everyone that he talked to that Jane and I had "Liposuction"!

One I liked that was not related to the surgery was when my mom was having trouble sleeping and was always tired. Eventually she went to the doctor to find out why. That night I called to see how it went and she told me: "Well, I finally know why I have been having such trouble sleeping...turns out this whole time I have had 'sleep apathy'."
(Actually was sleep apnea)
