Default New job for me!!

Well, I have taken a new job! I've been working for a group of GI docs that I love for the past 2 years. I answer phones and do office visit scheduling for 9 MD's and 2 APN's. The administrator (best boss ever) has given his notice...and is moving to a Urology group which is just around the corner from where I work now. So, I called there, and as luck would have it, there is a position opening this week...as a receptionist/procedure/office visit scheduler/auth person for one of the doctors. So, right now, I make $14 an hour, so I figured I'd go, talk, and check things out. Well, I met with the Dr yesterday and he really liked me, and I liked him. He offered me $16 an hour to start, and a review at 90 days!!! (wooohooo!) So, I am going!!! I'll start there on my birthday (12/27). I am excited!!! I'm looking forward to the challenge of learning something new, and taking care of just one doctor and his patients. Also, by starting 12/27, I'll be able to get benefits April 1st. I called to check on the pre-existing gastric bypass issue, and it's not a problem. With an HMO or POS plan, there is no pre-existing...so, Mama is covered. I just have to pray for good health for 90 days!!!! I made an appt with the doctor tomorrow morning so I can get all my drugs refilled before my last day!!!
