Well, Whitney and I met today. Actually, we had a meeting of the families! Whitney and her husband Keith met Liz, Lily, and I at Red Lobster for lunch and Liz's parents joined us at the end! It was so nice to meet someone from the forum, especially such nice folks as Keith and Whitney!

We had a great time, great conversation, and great food! (Crab legs, again...they just go down so well!) In fact, I hope that we are all able to go out again AND plan a get together for all the Western New Yorkers!

I'm attaching the picture we took and I want you all to know that we talked about many of you and how nice it would be to meet up with others from the forum!

I found it funny how familiar everything seemed when we met. The support that I get from everyone in this forum family is overwhelming, but it makes me feel like I've known some of you for a long, long time. Whitney and Keith felt like old friends--and I hope we can get together again soon!

Must be the day for meetings! I met Zen and her husband for breakfast today at their hotel in Madison... We had a great time together... it was fun to see photos of their DARLING blue-eyed blondies... and to hear of her weight loss journey...

I'll post a photo later too... right now I'm dying for a nap!!!

Mike - It was so much fun to get together with you and Liz and Lily (OMG - can we say ADORABLE?!) - and your parents. You are all so great, and I am just fascinated that you are all teachers! It is so true about this being family - it felt as if I had known Mike for a long time...and for the record - you know how hilarious he is here on the forum? Well he busted my gut a few times with that sense of humor mixed with his southern accent

Now that I have a buddy in the area, you bet we'll have many more get togethers, and can hopefully incorporate Dave and others in the WNY area. Such a great day!! I just wish we had taken more pictures..
