Saturday morning walks
Okay, I thought I would re-post this so that anyone who wants to be "social" can do so with us on our walks.
Every Saturday, we have been meeting at Lake Murray in La Mesa for a morning walk. We have walked up to 4 miles and sometimes, we walk less, depending on what people can do. It is a lot of fun too. Good way to get to know people and support each other through this journey.
We are going to change it up a bit too....in 2 weeks, we are going to walk at Chollas Lake...it has more shade (you know how us fat folks sweat!!??) and it is a great walk too. Then, who knows, we may even end up in Mira Mar or something like that. If we are going to change it for the week...we will post it here!! So, check back often!

From Interstate 805 take the 94 Freeway East and exit on Broadway/College Avenue. Turn right on College Avenue and then left on College Grove Drive. Look for the park entrance on the right, just past College Grove Way.

Todays walk!
Our walk today was great!! It was nice to finally meet Mary and it was great to meet Angela!!! We missed you Barbara!
Next week, we are going to walk at Chollas Lake instead of Lake Murray. We will still meet at 8am so...come one, come all!
It is am awesome way to get to know one another and ask any questions or voice any concerns.....pre-ops AND post-ops are more than welcome!!

uhhhhh....
Well....I enjoy walking at Murray so it doesn't really matter to me except I told Tracie that we might be walking at Chollas for shade purposes. So, I will talk to Tracie and see what she thinks, k?
